Second water sampling round at MAR pilot Vi Thanh after end of two series of ASR experiments

On Nov 30, 2023, Dr. Anke Steinel and Dr. Hoang Thi Hanh (CRMGG) and staff from QUATEST3 conducted the second water sampling round at the NAWAPI Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) pilot at the HAWASUCO site in Vi Thanh. Samples were taken from two backup production wells of HAWASUCO, the two MAR pilot wells from NAWAPI, one DONRE observation well, the newly installed water treatment system of NAWAPI and from the pre-treated surface water intake. Those water samples will be analysed for parameters similar to that of the samples collected in the first sampling round, except for pesticides, as results from the first round did not show any detected pesticides.

The semi-automatic groundwater level and EC data from the loggers were extracted and will be assessed together with the water quality results.
