IGPVN Final workshop for provincial partners
During the two mornings of December 15th and 16th 2021, at the Oakwood Residence Hanoi, the IGPVN Project held a workshop to hand over the results to the provincial partners.
Attending the workshop were the entire group of experts, technical staff of the IGPVN project, representatives of the National Center for Water Resources Planning and Investigation. The representatives of the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment of Ca Mau, Soc Trang and Bac Lieu provinces participated in the workshop online.
The IGPVN project team summarized all the activities of the Project implemented in the Mekong Delta provinces in the past period, including: (i) research on groundwater; (ii) support the monitoring and analysis of groundwater monitoring data and (iii) strengthen the management of groundwater resources. Accordingly, the main contents (research purposes, beneficiaries, approaches, achieved results, products) of each activity/work package were presented in a specific but condensed manner.
The workshop also spent time to discuss the prospects of further cooperation with the provinces in the coming period.
The products of the IGPVN project are being completed and will soon be fully handed over to localities for use.
