It forms part of a pilot initiative developed by CRMGG, NAWAPI and its 3 regional divisions to field-test the new technology under NAWAPI\u2019s digital transformation efforts. The IoT approach promises significant cost-savings compared to previously available hardware set-ups. Its data and communication formats are fully customizable, in contrast to proprietary standards. Moreover, sensor and controlling components can be combined in a modular way from a wide range of manufacturers and products in the IoT ecosystem.
