Applying PowerBI in Data Monitoring: Training Session on April 22-23, 2025

On April 22-23, 2025, CRMGG conducted an introductory and hands-on training session on the application of PowerBI for data monitoring, attended by staff from the Center for Water Resources Warning and Forecasting (CEWAFO).

The PowerBI template, developed with support from BGR experts, integrates various applications and data from technical reports of previous phases. This powerful tool enables technical staff to visualize data more quickly and effectively compared to traditional methods (such as using Excel).

During the session, in addition to presenting the PowerBI template, participants had the opportunity to discuss and engage in practical exercises using their daily work files. Some tasks included comparing model results with observed data and analyzing outputs from the NAM model using rainfall input data from ERA5 and monitoring stations.
