CRMGG visiting Hau Giang Department of Natural Resources and Environment

On November 14, 2024, CRMGG Project experts had a working trip to Hau Giang province to discuss with the Department of Environment, Natural Resources Management and Climate Change – Hau Giang DONRE on the activities implemented by CRMGG Project in Hau Giang so far.

CRMGG Project experts updated information to the staff of the Department of Environment, Natural Resources Management and Climate Change – Hau Giang DONRE on the results of the MAR pilot study at HAWASUCO Vi Thanh within the framework of the MONRE project. The extended experiment (recharge-storage-recovery) conducted by CRMGG within more than 4 months had completed. NAWAPI – the project implementing unit is completing the steps to hand over the project results to the local government.

During this working meeting, the CRMGG Project expert also took the time to review the operation of the GISD groundwater management software that had been previously transferred to Hau Giang DONRE and to instruct the specialized staff of the Department of Environment, Natural Resources Management and Climate Change – Hau Giang DONRE on how to use this software. The tentative activities of CRMGG from now until the end of the project (June 2025) have also been informed to Hau Giang DONRE.
